Feeding Orbs
It is the belief that orbs are the true state of a spirit after death (before ascension of course.) They are tiny little balls of light. I have seen many of these before in the past. Darting around my room, zipping in and out of the ceiling and walls. Some were light somewhere dark and some seemed to be chasing each other like kids playing tag. I felt no fear when I saw them and they didn’t bother me at all.
I have asked around and done some research on these orbs. Most people tell me they are ghosts, for some reason this didn’t totally feel right to me. I'm sure some of them are ghosts, but the orbs that I've seen didn’t seem to be people. They seemed a little more. Well it felt like they didn’t really have as distinct a personality as one would expect from a deceased person. They seemed more like mindless balls of energy.

I was watching this show one day called "Beyond" I think it was. They were discussing the possibility of certain orbs being native dwellers of the realm of the dead. Every life form needs too feed: trees feed from the water in the earth; humans eat food and breathe air. Even a flame needs oxygen to sustain its flame. Microbes, parasites and even bacteria need to feed on something. This episode theorized that there are some orbs that feed off of the emotions of others. The ones most recognizable are the ones that feed off of fear. They have even done studies where they saw an orb zip into a woman’s head. Seconds later she started panicking and freaking out. Her anxiety went through the roof.
If life forms in this realm need to feed, perhaps life forms in other realms need to feed. Perhaps some of them even feed off of our fear. These orbs seem to know just what to do to cause us the most fear so they can have a big dinner so to speak. There may be some that feed off of sadness and anger, and I'm sure some that feed off of joy. Who knows. Even ancient Buddhists talk of these beings. They say the best way to get rid of them is simply to ignore them. What they want most is our attention and reactions.
Maybe these beings were living people at one point. Perhaps they aren’t human at all, but when they go into a person's head they know exactly how to evoke the emotion they want. There could be so many mental illnesses that have been wrongly diagnosed because of these beings. People who have been institutionalized because of anxiety or extreme paranoia could simply be suffering from an orb that is continually using the person's fear as a feeding source. This may be why they seem calm when they are taking medication, because their mind is so doped up from the medication that the orb simply cannot evoke the feelings from the person it once did.
Then there is the dramatic explanation. That these beings are a form of demon, or at least they seem so to those who have suffered because of them, and those who have witnessed the suffering caused by them. They could also be unintelligent beings like animals (no offense intended) a tiger or a lion is a simple creature that hunts methodically and kills mercilessly. But the animal itself is not evil. It is merely trying to find food to survive. Of course we would not want a lion living in our living rooms anymore than we would want a fear-feeding orb living in our heads.
It’s nice to know, that all we have to do is ignore them and they'll go away.
